In the past, The Woman's Club of Medford has partnered with and raised funds for organizations such as Operation Yellow Ribbon, Go Red for Women. The Lauren Rose Albert Foundation, The Township of Medford, the Domestic Violence Advocacy Center, the Medford Care Center and many more in our efforts to make the community a better place to live.
For many years The Woman's Club of Medford has sponsored a 5th grade spelling bee open to all 5th grade students in the Medford area. We also offer a scholarship to a senior girl residing in the 08055 zip code who intends to further her education after high school graduation. And we have a book club open to all members where we read a variety of classics and new releases both fiction and non fiction.
The Woman's Club of Medford prides itself on partnering with not only other civic organizations but also the community at large. Throughout the year we look for sponsors for our Flower Baskets on Main project, our Banners on Main project and our annual Scarecrows on Main Contest. These projects are very well received and enjoyed by all members of the Medford community. We hope to continue these efforts for many years to come.
