For many years, The Woman's Club of Medford has striven to bring some sunshine to those veterans confined to local hospitals and home care facilities. There are many women who unfortunately are confined to local care homes who have no family at all or no family who visit. The Woman's Club of Medford has, over the years, 'adopted' several of these women. We visit when we can, we celebrate their birthdays and other holidays and simply try to bring a little joy into their lives.
While we all are enjoying our Thanksgiving feasts, we are still being protected by our local police officers. And we will continue this tradition for many years to come.
The Woman's Club of Medford has partnered with the township on many projects through the years from the banners and flower baskets along Main Street to park cleanups, we always step up when asked.
