The Woman's Club of Medford has partnered with the township on many projects through the years from the banners and flower baskets along Main Street to park cleanups, we always step up when asked.
We have helped fill care packages for Operation Yellow Ribbon to be sent to the troops in combat zones. We also create Valentines every year to be distributed to the patients at local VA Hospitals.
We have helped The Lauren Rose Albert Foundation fill Mother Day bags for underprivileged mothers. The foundation aids these mothers in achieving better lives for themselves and their families. Read about them here:
For many years The Woman's Club of Medford has provided the refreshments for the Medford Samaritan Hospice Tree of Life lighting in early December. If you are interested find them here:
The ladies of our club have 'adopted' grandmothers over the years. These women are confined to care homes with no family who visit. To bring extra cheer to the center during the holiday season, club members have made a tradition of caroling through the dining hall and distributing handmade lap blankets.
One of the core components of our mission is to provide necessary funding to worthy and essential organizations throughout the South Jersey area. In the past we have donated to the SJ Food Bank, Alzheimer's New Jersey, NAMI - The National Alliance on Mental Illness and the American Heart Association Go Red for Women program among others.
