Community Partnerships

 

The mission of the Woman’s Club of Medford is to Make the Community a Better Place.  To fulfill this, we have embarked on an additional mission to partner with other worthy organizations in our community so that we may make the community an even better place.

On Tuesday, October 21, 2014, members of the Woman’s Club of Medford partnered with Operation Yellow Ribbon to help pack care packages for our troops serving overseas.

On Monday, October 20, 2014, members of the Woman’s Club of Medford partnered with the Girls Matter class at Medford Memorial School to benefit the South Jersey Breast Cancer Coalition.

On September 14, 2014, members of the Woman’s Club of Medford, the Medford MOMs Club, Mayor Buoni, a gentleman named Bob, and nearly 40 kids from the St Mary of the Lakes Youth Group, the Shawnee High School National Honor Society, Boy Scout Troop 26 and a very special young man named Joe partnered to clean up Freedom Park for the Fall season. Thanks to all who participated! And thanks to Girlfriends on Main for the donation of cookies to help the cause!

The Woman’s Club of Medford worked tirelessly as Medford Celebrates once again provided our town with a spectacular fireworks show.  The fireworks are paid for completely through donations and our ladies came through once again!

 Members of the Woman’s Club of Medford welcomed home a returning hero on July, 5, 2014 in conjunction with Operation Yellow Ribbon

The ladies of The Woman’s Club of Medford brought the first lending library to Medford.  We have renewed our commitment to bring the love of reading to our community through the efforts of the Pinelands Library.
