Each member of the Woman’s Club of Medford is proud to have inherited a history of activism on the community, state, national and international levels.
Our projects have included providing a scholarship to a senior girl at Shawnee, conducting the 5th grade spelling bee, creating Valentines for distribution to Veterans at the Philadelphia VA hospital, providing support to the Samaritan Hospice for their annual Tree of Life lighting, supporting the local police department with their Operation Santa program, distributing holiday food baskets to those less fortunate and many monetary donations to everything from the Go Red for Women American Heart Association campaign to the Ronald McDonald House to our current recipients the South Jersey Food Bank and the Michael J. Fox Parkinsons foundation.
This year the Woman’s Club of Medford has decided to adopt the veterans memorials at Freedom Park. Our ladies will maintain these monuments as a tribute to those who keep us safe and free! Additionally, the Woman’s Club of Medford will continue to maintain our very special reflective bench area also within Freedom Park.
